Cancellation disappoints India, England again

The seventh match between India and England* – which was slated to take place at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi on December 2, 2008 – was cancelled without a ball bowled** following the terrorist attacks on Mumbai (which took place on November 26, 2008).

There was no toss.

As I mentioned in my blog titled (Ind)Yeah, The Blues Rock, India had already swept the five-match series 5-0.

[*Note (1): It was originally a seven-match series.]

[**Note (2): Even the sixth One-day International was cancelled without a ball bowled.]
